Housed within the historic Jaganmohan Palace, the Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery in Mysuru is one of the finest art galleries in South India. It boasts a rare and diverse collection of paintings, sculptures, musical instruments, and artefacts that reflect the royal heritage and artistic legacy of Karnataka and India as a whole.
The gallery is named after Sri Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar, the last ruling Maharaja of Mysore, who was also a great patron of art and culture.
